Remembering R.M. Vaughan

Canada loses a writing icon.

I won’t get into his death, but let’s talk about his writing. I had to read much of what he wrote in a few English Lit courses and comment on it. I won’t rehash those essays here.

I will say that losing his icon is a major blow. He was an interesting and engaging person, from those who knew him tell me. I wish I had the honour of meeting him as I can say his writing gave me much to think about in my own life.

For more about him, his life, and his writing go here. Pick up a book or two of his and read them. You won’t regret it.
